Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is a 226-bed, full-service children's hospital devoted to the healthcare of infants, children and adolescents in the Northern Virginia area. The newly expanded facility opened in 2016, providing state-of-the-art technology, research and teaching innovations, and a dedicated team approach to patient care. Our Pediatric hospitalists provide 24/7 in-house coverage of the pediatric medical unit, daily coverage of the newborn nursery (no delivery attendance), and consultative services to our surgical colleagues.
