Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II for the Immunology department at the Atlantic Consolidated Laboratory in Morris Plains to work from 8am - 4pm including every third weekend.
Responsibilities
ELISA, IFA, Serology and Electrophoresis testing
Processing and accessioning of patient specimens
Analyze and report patient results
Call critical results
Perform daily QC as per SOP
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Maintain inventory of supplies
Stay current by continuing education and competencies
Able to lift 20 lbs
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
BS, MT, or MLS. ASCP or eligible
In order to be considered for an interview: Must provide copy of BS diploma with MT or MLS specified on diploma. If MT or MLS not specified, must provide a transcript. If foreign diploma, must provide a foreign equivalency
Minimum Experience:
Electrophoresis experience preferred
Demonstrates exceptional customer service with a positive team spirit
Excellent communication, collaborative, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
