Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Nursing Assistant for the Pulmonary Unit- Gagnon 3 at Morristown Medical Center. The 12 hour shift varies including 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule.Responsibilities Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient careAssisting patients with daily activitiesMeasuring and recording vital signsAdministering basic treatmentsHelping to ensure a safe care environmentContinuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are metEnsuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitudeGood communication skills
