Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) as the lead APC at the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Cardiac Structural Heart experience and at least 2 years of leadership experience.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the lead APC will involve providing a broad range of services in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal lead APC will have exceptional skills in assessments, consultations, H&P, order entries, and proficient in EPIC. The lead APC will also enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment and have the opportunity to speak at national meetings to increase networking across the country.
The AMG Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center is a world-renowned program and reputation for excellence that has earned numerous accolades and recognition for its outstanding patient care, advanced technology, and cutting-edge research in the field of cardiac care. One of the center's most significant accomplishments is being awarded the highest rating of three stars from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for aortic valve replacement surgery.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
ACLS and BLS certification required
5 years of Cardiac Structural Heart experience is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience is required
Must have excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
