Kadlec is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to interact with the center/hospital medical staff and specialists to ensure appropriate and timely patient care, patient transfers, and patient referrals. Manage patients through the continuum of hospital care. Order treatments, tests, and consult with specialty physicians where appropriate. Direct, coordinate, or supervise the patient care activities of nursing and support staff. Write patient discharge summaries to summarize hospital stay. The hospitalist is an internal medicine position that serves hospitalized adults. The role works exclusively in an inpatient setting, including acute care settings and the emergency room. The hospitalist makes decisions about whether to admit a patient to a hospital for inpatient care. The role manages care throughout a patient's hospitalized stay, making referrals as necessary to specialists and coordinating with a patient's primary care provider, as necessary. Applicants must have:
Medical Degree (MD)
Washington State medical license
Completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
Compensation is between $134.46 and $173.25 per hour
