UM St. Joseph Medical Group (UMSJMG), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their practice located in Towson, MD. Nurse Practitioner

Job Specifics:
* Position dedicated to the management and treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary hypertension (PH), interstitial lung disease (ILD), follow-up with lung nodule patients and obstructive sleep apnea.
* Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
* Interpret test results for deviations from normal.
* Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, as appropriately credentialed.
* Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
* Position a blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities as needed.
* Collaborative, supportive team comprised of 9 providers.
* Monday through Friday work schedule; No call, No weekends!
* NP's must be Adult-Gero Primary Care NP or Adult-Gero Acute Care Certified.
