Demonstrate proficiency with multiple devices i.e. EzPAP, Flutter Valve, PEP, Theravest/Smart Vest, Acapella and Incentive Spirometry,
Demonstrate ability to initiate and operate the Draeger Ventilator,
Demonstrate proficiency in the set-up and operation of the iVent,
Demonstrate ability to identify appropriate, initiate and document in hospital IPOCS,
Demonstrates understanding of the population we serve i.e. neonate/infant, geriatric, COPD, Pneumonia, Non-English Speaking,
Demonstrate ability and proficiency to order. perform, confirm and post ECGâ™s in patientâ™s chart,
Demonstrate ability to set-up, implement therapy, wean appropriately and document completely on high flow oxygen systems
NICU RTâ™s must be able to demonstrate and verbally answer trouble shooting questions on the Oxygen Analyzers, Oxygen Cannula with bubbler, Heated Cannula, Oxygen Hoods, SIPAP/CPAP, Babylog Ventilator, Surfactant delivery, suctioning, nursery rounding and equipment stocking
When working at Prairie Star location, will assist with vital signs when needed
