The Perioperative Department of Baylor University Medical Center is comprised of two operating room departments that have a total of 50 operating room suites and perform over 20,000 a year. The Truett operating room department has 20 operating room suites and performs orthopedic, neurosurgery, plastics, oral, and ophthalmology. The Roberts operating room department has 30 operating rooms and performs trauma, cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant, robotics, gynecology, urology, ENT, colon rectal, and general surgery. Together these departments deliver safe, value-based care to our community and as a destination center for many others seeking very complex treatment from our world renown medical professionals. QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
MAJOR - Nursing
EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
