Nurse Practitioner needed in New York for Hospitalist coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and NY state license. Shifts will be Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm, flexible schedule if needed, call rotation. Will see 15-25 patients per day and patient population is geriatrics. Must be comfortable with orthopedic rehab, pain management, complex fracture recovery, complex wound care, IV therapy, speech/physical/occupational therapy, making diagnoses, performing medical histories, physical exams, prescribing medications, writing orders, making entries in medical records, monitoring effects of treatment.
