The Pulmonology Specialty Nurse is responsible for an area of specialized nursing practice and will be responsible for phone triage, scheduling questions, insurance authorization, letters, relaying imaging findings after discussing with providers, and responding to Nemours portal messages for pulmonology and sleep medicine patients. This specialty nurse will also be responsible for coordination of patients in the Biologics Program, working with a multidisciplinary team, as well as being responsible for injection visits with these patients.
