The Gastroenterology (GI)/Endoscopy suite/clinic LPN provide out-patient, gastroenterology, and hepatology care. They function as an integral member of the GI team, interacting with Veterans, providers, and anesthesia staff in the GI setting. The LPN prepares the procedure room, sets up equipment, and follows all RME guidelines. The incumbent demonstrates the ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to Veterans with a variety of physical and /or behavioral problems. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
