The Licensed Practical nurse GS-6, is a direct care provider who has the technical proficiency & excellent observation skills necessary for initiating, performing, & completing assigned duties in delivering comprehensive practical nursing care to variable patient populations. Possesses knowledge & ability to appropriately carryout assigned patient care based on resident's conditions. Demonstrates competency in dealing with a high volume of patients. Applicants pending the completion of educational, or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
