Laboratory Assistant I - Surgery
DescriptionSeeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant 1 to work in a cutting-edge liver transplant research laboratory in the Department of Surgery. Under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator, you will help perform research that aims to understand the immunological mechanisms of liver transplant rejection towards developing anti-rejection treatments. You will work with hepatocyte and T-cell cell lines and research animals. in this role you will be required to complete a variety of common lab techniques including, but not limited to, protein expression and isolation, ELISA, IHC and Western blotting.
