WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking a physician to join our OB Hospitalist team in a part time capacity with dedicated coverage of 10 twelve hour shifts per four week block as a .80 FTE. Coverage of weekend requirements will be rotational among the team. The OB hospitalist team provides coverage for all unassigned OB and GYN patients presenting to the WakeMed North Hospital, covering the ED and OBED. Our team provides call coverage, surgical assistance and L&D support for contracted OBGYN groups. The OB Hospitalists lead the OB rapid response team, oversee CNMs and provide oversight and clinical teaching for third and fourth year medical students.

Eligible candidates should be BE/BC in OBGYN and be proficient with core obstetrical and gynecological procedures. Ideal candidates will have at least years of professional experience.
