Job Description:
We are seeking an ICU Intensivist Medical Director to lead our team of dedicated critical care providers at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. The successful candidate will oversee administrative duties while actively participating in clinical care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Responsibilities:
o Allocate 0.40 FTE to administrative duties, including workflow implementation, quality metric determination, handling of inquiries, and conducting quality case reviews.
o Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to report on administrative matters and implement strategic initiatives.
o Provide direct clinical care for 0.60 FTE in the ICU setting.
o Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
o Lead quality improvement efforts and participate in performance reviews.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
o Starting Bonus and Competitive salary with incentives
o Compensation is $495,000
o Work-life balance with a manageable administrative workload.
o The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Requirements:
Valid New York State (NYS) medical license.
DEA registration.
Board Certification in Critical Care required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ICU Medical Director.
