Description The Division of NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION AT STONY BROOK MEDICINE is recruiting for a full-time clinical faculty member with a focus on outpatient clinical nephrology.
Stony Brook is located in suburban Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, offering excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. The level of appointment will be dependent on credentials and experience.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology. Candidate should have a strong clinical background to assume inpatient and outpatient patient care and teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching and curriculum development for students, residents and/or fellows. Background in critical care nephrology with critical care board certification. Experience in QI/QA and/or clinical research.
