The Clinical Research Technologist serves as a bench technologist for the Nemours GI Diagnostic and Research lab, and performs enzyme, immunologic, and other assays in body fluids and tissue samples for diagnostic testing purposes. Bench duties include acquiring and logging in samples, performing, interpreting and resulting assays. Other duties include providing assistance for other technologists, maintaining inventory, participating in, preparing, and reviewing new assay procedures and providing assistance to the lab manager to ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA and JCAHO requirements. This position is also responsible for providing progress and update reports to the lab manager and director. In addition, this position will participate in research involvin
