Distinguishing Features of the Class: Under the general supervision of the Chief Respiratory Therapist, incumbents of this class are responsible for the operation and supervision of Respiratory Therapy in assigned areas of Westchester Medical Center. In addition, the incumbent of this position assists in providing instruction in respiratory techniques to hospital staff and students. Supervision is exercised over a number of respiratory therapists, technicians and students.
