Strategic Faculty Recruitments in Broad Areas of Diabetes Research at UAB   THE OPPORTUNITY The University of Alabama at Birmingham* (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine (Heersink SOM)** and the UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC)*** are continuing the recruitment of up to 10 investigators for a major strategic portfolio increase across basic, translational, clinical, and population science research efforts in diabetes.
