Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a Fellowship Trained United States or Royal College Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for our expanding team. Academic/Faculty opportunities are available for our Anesthesiology Residency Program. H1-B Visa applicants accepted.

Highlights of the Position

• Anesthesiology Residency Program
• 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms
• Approximately 250 open cardiac cases annually as well as TAVRs performed in hybrid operating room
• Fellowship trained in Cardiac Anesthesiology or in certification process as well as certified in Echocardiography or in certification process.
• Teaching with regular rotations of residents and medical students.
• Robust EHR used in all areas including operating room (EPIC 10-Star health system top 1% of EPIC Organizations)
• Anesthesia Department manages OR schedule providing the necessary structure for a smooth efficient workday

Work Life Balance

• Cardiac Anesthesiologist primarily takes cardiac call with rare call back
• 4-6 weeks vacation time
• 5 Personal days per year
• 7 Holidays per year
