The responsibilities for per diem Physical Therapists include:

1. Assess individual functional skills with Functional transfers, functional mobility, and Cognitive abilities.
2. Recommend Appropriate discharge destination based on assessment.
3. Supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants and Mobility technicians.
4. Knowledgeable about treating conditions resulting from variety of causes such as various neurological, Cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic conditions along with accidents and falls.
5. Teach individual skills and techniques required for participation in Mobility and safe patient handling to clients and caregivers.
6. Recommend equipment for individuals and suggest adaptation of that equipment to individual's work-living environment.
7. Collaborate and communicate with various health care professionals in order to effectively and successfully treat our clients.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
