DescriptionJob SummaryCollaborates with physicians, inpatient nursing units, and NCHS leaders to facilitate the patient admission, transfer, and discharge (ADT) processes. Rounds the nursing units, monitors and identifies bed availability to support patient throughput, and effectively utilizes inpatient beds. Attends bed control meetings and collects, monitors, and analyzes data related to bed availability, daily census, and the bed control process. Under limited direction, provides an effective admission and discharge process for patients and supportive clinical resources, to support patient care units, as related to patient admission and discharge.
