Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse at the entry level of GS-3 engages in nursing care and practice, maintaining acceptable standards and is directly responsible to the Team Leader and to the Nurse Manager. The LPN serves as a responsible member of the nursing team with an assigned patient load. Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing direct patient care.
