Job DescriptionUnder the general administrative direction, the Manager, Patient Placement and Supplemental Staff oversees the bed management process and is responsible for ensuring the success of the hospital's strategic objectives and mission as they relate to patient access, patient flow, growth of market share, customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of health system partners. Formulates and recommends changes in patient flow to hospital executives. This position has operational oversight for scheduling the Nursing Supervisors and acts as a resource for questions/problem solving. Identifies areas of improvement and works with staff to facilitate the necessary changes. Responsible for completing timely staff
