Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice newborn care in a highacuity environment with the autonomy, collaboration, and support you need to thrive. 8-hour daytime shiftsâ”no deliveries, no overnight call
Daily responsibilities include newborn nursery rounding, supervising family medicine residents, and performing circumcisions
A Robust, High-Acuity Practice
25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 14)
~3,500 annual deliveries
Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
Advanced services include body cooling, oscillators, and a dedicated RN/RT-staffed regional transport team
Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team
Work alongside experienced Neonatologists, NNPs, OB Hospitalists, MFM specialists, and telehealth subspecialists
