A postdoctoral position is available to study novel molecular mediators of pulmonary hypertension and right ventricular dysfunction. This research program is aimed at qualified fellows who have an M.D. or Ph.D. or an equivalent degree, and it is designed to prepare trainees for a career in translational or basic science research in an academic environment focused on pulmonary arterial hypertension. The lab is interested in studying the novel mechanistic biomarkers pulmonary arterial hypertension severity and therapeutic targets and the prospective candidate will have the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art techniques employing preclinical models of pulmonary arterial hypertension, cell and molecular biology and human biospecimens.
