Nurse Practitioner needed in Virginia for General Surgery coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and VA state license. Lead trauma position. Shifts will be 15 shifts monthly - 7am-7pm. Will provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for trauma patients including ICU, will respond to red and yellow trauma assessments and consults, first assist and rounding. Experience in Trauma & ICU Required. ATLS required. Support staff includes Trauma team: Anesthesiologists, Critical care Neurosurgeons, Trauma surgeons, Cardiothoracic surgeons, Orthopedic surgeons, Radiologists.
