University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Pleasanton, CA, and Livermore, CA.
Position Details:
Full-time is 36 patient contact hours per week
Seeking Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine physician to work alongside three (3) physicians in the clinic
Clinic Locations: Pleasanton (primary) and Livermore (secondary)
Opportunity is a mix of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient Pulmonary consult service at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, CA
Clinicians see approximately 14-16 patients per day
Outpatient clinic also includes the reading of PFTs
6-8 weeks of ICU coverage per year, coverage scheduled in 1-week blocks
1.5 ICU night shifts per month, 1-2 ICU swing shifts per month
BE/BC in Sleep Medicine a plus (but not mandatory)
Collaborate closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians
Teaching opportunities for Stanford Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents, to include potential academic appointment
