The Department of Veterans Affairs is recruiting Nationwide for General Medical Technologists to care for our Veteran Heroes! You will develop, perform, evaluate, interpret, correlate and validate the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results. Testing is performed on a variety of biological specimens using manual or automated techniques and require a broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Work is performed in a variety of laboratory disciplines, such as bacteriology, chemistry (including immunoassay and toxicology), coagulation, hematology, immunology, immunohematology (blood banking), and urinalysis.
