Job SummaryThe Wellbeing Research Scientist develops and works on an independent research project that furthers the goals of the Investigator. To be effective in this role, it is expected that the Research Scientist have numerous peer review publications. The Research Scientist may be required to supervise or train other research personnel such as Post-Doctoral Fellows or Research Assistants, as needed for the project. He/she may apply for smaller grants or awards and eventually, with approval of the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR) Director, for an NIH R01 grant or equivalent. The Research Scientist is also expected to contribute significantly to the Investigator's grant proposal developments
