Overview The RN on the Critical Care Flex Team will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices in our newly remodeled ICUs. They will assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care, and demonstrate the ability to safely and accurately operate equipment. The RN on the Critical Care Flex Team works in three different ICU's at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. This position is working 60 hours, 12 hour shifts, every third weekend. The critical care units include the Surgical ICU, the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU. At the University of Minnesota Medical Center, we are a comprehensive stroke center and trauma center.
