Physician (Primary Care)
Serve as a Primary Care Provider located within the Miami VA Healthcare System assigned to the Ambulatory Care Service. The Primary Care Provider works as a physician on a primary care team and is accountable for providing health care to outpatient veterans in accordance with individual patient needs determined by standards of adult health care practice, hospital policy and procedures. The Primary Care Provider is responsible for treating the short and long term needs of Veterans when managing a PACT team, i.e. - new and annual exam patients must have a History & Physical charted, routine follow up patients must have both short and appropriate long term health issues addressed.
