The Medical Instrument Technician (Cardiac Catheterization Technician) is assigned to the VA Northern California Health Care System, Catheterization Lab . Cardiac Catheterization Technician at the full performance level, under a physician's direction, perform diagnostic tests, both invasive and noninvasive, of the pulmonary system (lung) and the cardiovascular system (heart and circulation). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
