IU Health Methodist Hospital is a regional healthcare leader through its commitment to excellence, accessibility and preeminence. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
