Position Summary
Crosswalk Health (www.letscrosswalk.com) is seeking board-certified pulmonologists to provide remote interpretation of spirometry and pulmonary function testing studies performed by licensed respiratory therapists in primary care settings. Physicians will review diagnostic studies, generate concise and clinically actionable interpretations, and support evidence-based COPD identification and management.
This role is fully remote and designed for physicians seeking flexible clinical work with meaningful impact on population health and value-based care.

In-clinic spirometry testing performed at primary care practices
Pulmonologist-led interpretation and guideline-based care recommendations
Clinician-to-clinician consultations
Virtual pulmonary care support for patients when appropriate
We are expanding rapidly across multiple states and are seeking mission-driven pulmonologists who are passionate about improving access to high-quality respiratory care and supporting frontline primary care teams.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret spirometry and pulmonary function testing studies remotely
Generate clear, accurate, and guideline-consistent interpretation reports
Identify obstructive, restrictive, and mixed ventilatory defects
Provide structured clinical recommendations aligned with current GOLD and ATS/ERS guidelines
Collaborate with Crosswalk Health clinical and operations teams to maintain quality and turnaround expectations
Support primary care clinicians through asynchronous clinical consultation as needed
Participate in quality assurance and clinical calibration activities
Maintain timely completion of assigned interpretations

Board Certification in Pulmonary Disease
Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one of the following states:
Texas

Tennessee
DEA registration and controlled substance eligibility where applicable
Strong working knowledge of spirometry interpretation and COPD management guidelines
Excellent written communication and clinical documentation skills
Comfort working in a technology-enabled, remote clinical environment
Preferred
Multiple active state licenses across our operating footprint ideally via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)
Experience interpreting spirometry in outpatient or primary care settings
Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, accountable care organizations (ACOs), or value-based care models
Experience with virtual care delivery or telemedicine workflows and comfort with technology
Interest in collaborative, population-health-oriented pulmonary care
Experience supporting primary care clinicians through eConsults or peer-to-peer collaboration
